Visit us at packaging.toppan.com Summary Description: While reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Maintenance Process Engineer will have responsibilities related to maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting process issues, supporting capital project submission and installation, and overall equipment reliability. Responsibilities may also include operations support around optimization and efficiency. Position will need to have a good knowledge of rotogravure printing, extrusion and adhesive laminating, and slitting. Pouch Making and Laser scoring are also processes that will be learned. The position will work closely with the plant operations to implement new procedures or processes to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and minimize costs. What You’ll Be Doing: Planning and coordinating maintenance activities, training production operators, documentation of processes and procedures. Understand equipment functionality and troubleshoot when not performing to expectations. Work with operators to determine best process conditions, maintenance frequencies, etc. to ensure consistent operations. Create Preventative Maintenance documents and schedule work for completion. Work with outside vendors as needed. Manage process monitoring through Ei3 by defining critical process parameters and establish acceptable ranges in Ei3. Analyze and facilitate resolution of process problems with process improvement team members. Provide problem solving to plant related production issues. Research new technologies or processes. Benchmark competitor’s innovations. This position is located in our Franklin, OH Facility and 100% onsite

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in ChemE, ME, EE, Pkg Eng or other technical field
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Good communication and technical sills
  • Good business and technical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Helpful to have rotogravure printing and dry bond lamination experience.
