About The Position

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team and drive improvements across manufacturing operations. This role is a critical technical resource—supporting production teams in advancing safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, while also contributing to profitability. You’ll provide hands-on troubleshooting, lead process improvement projects, and collaborate with global R&D teams to enhance manufacturing methods, tooling, and raw material usage. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Background in process engineering or polymer processing (stock shapes and advanced materials experience preferred).
Experience with Statistics, DOE, and process optimization.
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
Excellent communication skills—both written and oral.
Ability to collaborate across functions (Safety, Maintenance, Quality, Production, Business).

Nice To Haves

Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) strongly preferred.
2 – 4 years of industry experience in process engineering or polymer processing Preferred - preferably in stock shapes and advanced materials
SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with production teams to improve processes, methods, and operating conditions.
Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support to resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
Review production performance (safety, quality, scrap, rework) and implement corrective actions.
Lead projects to design, justify, and implement new equipment and capital expenditures.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase yield, reduce cycle time, and optimize costs.
Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Audit tooling processes, inventory, and quality; ensure compliance with procedures.
Obtain quotes, write Capital Expense Requests (CERs), and oversee installation of equipment/tooling.
Collaborate with global R&D teams on process improvements and product development efforts.
Act as a leader on the production floor, modeling company culture and safety standards.
