RiteScreen is looking for a hands-on, results-driven Process Engineer to join our team in Elizabethville, PA or Elizabethton, TN. This role is critical to how we operate—focused on improving manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and making a real impact on safety, quality, and productivity. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Experience with process optimization, automation, and troubleshooting
- Ability to analyze data and turn insights into action
- Experience with ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills
- CAD and 3D modeling experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
Nice To Haves
- Six Sigma certification
- Experience in the fenestration or building materials industry
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
- Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, throughput improvement, and scrap reduction
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions quickly and effectively
- Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and cost evaluations
- Monitor and improve KPIs such as cycle time, downtime, scrap rate, and labor efficiency
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to improve operational performance
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions
- Support new product introductions and ensure manufacturability
- Assist with equipment trials, validations, and capability studies
- Partner cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Train operators and support production teams with process changes
- Manage projects from concept through implementation
- Support capital equipment projects and process improvements
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and documentation
