Process Engineer - Purification (Chromatography and UF/DF)

About The Position
Grow your career in biotech purification at a leading biotechnology company in Juncos, Puerto Rico. The Process Engineer will troubleshoot and optimize chromatography and UF/DF operations that support commercial manufacturing. This is a six-month contract with possible extension. The administrative shift is 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with an immediate start.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering, plus 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree.
- Knowledge of chromatography and UF/DF.
- GMP experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot purification equipment and processes during daily operations.
- Support process optimization, system modifications, and equipment upgrades.
- Write technical reports, change controls, and validation protocols.
- Support deviations and root cause investigations.
- Work with manufacturing, process development, QA, and validation.
