Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Plastics, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field) preferred
5+ years of experience in plastics manufacturing
Proven success in managing and commercializing new products
Strong project management skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with quality systems and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

Experience with injection molding, blow molding, or other plastics processing technologies.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of new product commercialization, from business win to successful launch.
Work closely with Product Engineering, Operations, Quality, Sales, and Marketing.
Provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle, leveraging knowledge of plastics manufacturing.
Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets.
Ensure all activities align with agreed upon customer requirements including quality and delivery timing.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
Work collaboratively with manufacturing & the customer to resolve technical and operational challenges.
Oversee initial production runs to ensure quality and efficiency.
Provide ongoing technical support after product launch.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Build relationships and influence team members to achieve project goals.
