As a Process Engineer, you will design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies, collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, troubleshoot engineering issues, measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers. You will also collaborate with vendors and suppliers, implement new technologies, and work with R&D teams on state-of-the-art projects.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD preferred
  • >5 years of PVD, CVD, and/or ALD
  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Manage PVD, CVD, ALD systems within safety guidelines.
  • Drive process and hardware development projects with limited to no supervision.
  • Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple products.
  • Utilize techniques, define methods, and apply new technologies to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on a high number of complex systems for multiple products.
  • Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and create process engineering specifications.
  • Develop, plan, and execute process engineering projects, within safety guidelines.
  • Train engineers in measurement techniques of film properties and guide them in the interpretation of the data, new methodologies, troubleshooting techniques and issue resolution.
  • Communicate and engage with customers to resolve a broad spectrum of complex process engineering issues, with limited supervision.
  • Design and implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation.
  • Identify, select, and partner with vendors and suppliers with limited to no supervision.
  • Lead functional teams or projects, as needed.
