About The Position

The role of a Process Engineer is to manage the process of equipment – existing and purchases, tool design, tool build and tool try out, respecting objectives set in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery. The main missions of the role are to: Be responsible for the successful completion of programs from receipt of order through a successful 'Run at Rate.' Master PFMEA, GD&T and Control Plan Documentation. Responsible for Parameters related to the process. Leadership in planning on floor for all launch related actions. Use the Advanced Product Quality Planning process to ensure objectives are met. Track and report the status of the project, following the ratio of expenses against budget and monitoring quality, cost and delivery performance (i.e. presentations, meetings, customer visits¿) Be in charge of communication with the customer and of providing documentation. Keep up to date documentation related to new equipment &tooling. Manage Engineer Change Requests (quoting, implementation, etc...) Management of launch activities at the Plant and staffing of the extended support team until the full validation. Ensure the new tooling equipment conforms with the Group's Health, Safety & Environment standards. Validate the tooling & equipment (Run at Rate during production launch) Contribute to the improvement of tooling standards. Train the operators on the safe operation of new tooling & equipment, properly identified, and provide them with tooling & equipment instruction. Report all Industrial Development risk analysis and associated action plans. Responsible for launch planning and budget from definition till execution. Leadership for all Industrial Development Objectives for his/her program(S) at the plant Ensure the Industrial Development milestones are passed successfully and on time. Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions concerning subcontracting and tooling department services. Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management Assist other departments to secure the quality of the product. Report on Plant Launch activities to the plant Other tasks assigned according to the position and company needs.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent plus three-(3) years directly related experience.
  • Proficient level of English
  • Strong analytical, project management and problem solving-skills (required).
  • Understanding Finance Basics (costing, investment)
  • Lean Manufacturing (One Piece Flow, SMED, KANBAN, HOSHIN workshop, etc.)

  • Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and safety anti-cut sleeves required in production area due to physical hazards from moving equipment, machine parts, and product.
