Process Engineer Intern

About The Position

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Apply chemistry fundamentals and laboratory practices to support full‑scale production processes. Observe and participate in production batch operations to understand manufacturing workflows and product scale‑up. Evaluate manufacturing equipment and process conditions to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements. Analyze batch failure data and production deviations to help identify root causes and support corrective actions. Assist with sustainability and process efficiency initiatives within the production environment. Support manufacturing data setup, maintenance, and documentation within the SAP ERP system. Collaborate with production, quality, and technical teams to support continuous improvement efforts. Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures within the production facility. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years of college coursework completed in the study of Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or related field. Knowledge of general chemistry, chemical process equipment, and experimental design is preferred. Previous laboratory and/or industrial experience, is a plus. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
