Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in engineering field (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)
- 2-5 years applicable engineering experience
- Specialties may include manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, and robotics
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct engineering support to manufacturing operations.
- Perform design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations.
- May prepare plans, conduct support studies, and provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations.
- May assign work to drafters and/or technicians.
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
- Involved with the design, development, modification and analysis of products.
- Troubleshoot and diagnoses problems with existing products and makes modifications and improvements as needed.
- Compile and evaluate product design and test data.
- Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products.
- Working knowledge of statistical techniques in development such as Design of Experiments and SPC.
