About The Position

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). We are looking for a Process Engineer II to join a diverse and dynamic team of manufacturing process and equipment engineers. This role involves supporting a mix of manual and highly automated equipment. As a Process Engineer II, you will integrate mechanical, systems, electrical measurement, robotics, software, UX, and data informatics to develop sustainable manufacturing processes and build high-tech medical device products globally. You will lead cross-functional teams in structured problem-solving and statistical data analysis to understand root causes and resolve issues. You will work hands-on with equipment, from manual to advanced automated systems, to investigate and troubleshoot problems. Additionally, you will design improvements for equipment and manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, increase productivity, and reduce costs. You will also perform equipment and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) to ensure compliance with specifications, performance, regulatory, and business requirements. Collaboration with Regulatory, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Process Engineering is key to delivering the best experience for Dexcom patients. You will also be responsible for writing instructions and providing training and coaching to technicians and operations on best practices and procedures. This role is part of a diverse and multicultural organization working with a global team.

Requirements

  • Experience driving improvement in machine performance, test methods, validation standards and manufacturing processes
  • Use of analytical tools like Structured Problem Solving or DMAIC to drive continuous improvement
  • Deep knowledge of process characterization, SPC control, DOE, and leading teams
  • Total system perspective to create high performance solutions where mechanical, electrical and software components interact with people
  • Flexibility in a fast-changing environment and ability to prioritize projects while maintaining timelines
  • Detail oriented and organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience or Master’s degree and 0-2 years’ equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across groups including Regulatory, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Process Engineering to bring the best possible experience to Dexcom patients
  • Write instructions and provide training and coaching to technicians and operations on best practices, new and existing procedures
