About The Position

Novo Nordisk is seeking Process Engineers I/II to join their new Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) department. This role is responsible for enhancing system and equipment reliability for core processes to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements. Key activities include focusing on people, processes, equipment, and acting as a standards "Gatekeeper." The engineer will also manage the product technical lifecycle, including post-approval process control strategy, process/yield improvement, knowledge management, batch deviations, and ensuring the accuracy of regulatory CMC registration details.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university required with one (1) year of engineering experience in maintenance, design, process improvement, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification/equivalent preferred
May consider Associate’s degree in engineering or relevant field of study from an accredited university with two (2) years of engineering experience in maintenance, design, process improvement, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification /equivalent required
May consider High School Diploma (GED) with four (4) years engineering experience in maintenance, design, process improvement, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification/equivalent required
Three (3) years of engineering experience in maintenance, design, process improvement, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent preferred
Knowledgeable in the following systems: Instrument & Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs, Process Improvement Methodologies, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) a plus

Responsibilities

Coach & mentor peers as well as Shopfloor personnel
Support technical development of Shopfloor personnel
Employ advanced cLEAN® tools within the main areas of problem solving, project & change management
Lead cross-functional process improvements
Develop plans to improve the performance of a process or set of systems
Develop & manage project budget for improvements for a process or set of systems
Support event response activities
Support implementation of better practices & participate in sharing knowledge across all tableting sites for improvement projects
Maintain & establish standards for procedures & maintenance plans
Support global MSAT collaboration initiatives
Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
