Requirements

  • B.S. degree or higher in mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, chemical or controls engineering.
  • Oral and written presentation skills in front of all levels of the organization
  • Knowledgeable in the use of engineering software (simulation packages, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Minitab, Office Suite)

Responsibilities

  • Execute defined Process Engineering projects under the supervision of the Sr. Engineering Manager
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the enterprise to execute projects and measure their performance, including finance, R&D, and plant staff (process, quality and safety engineers)
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and production data to identify opportunities for improving throughput, asset utilization, quality, yield, and cost performance.
  • Track and report key manufacturing metrics before and after project execution: Unit cost, Production rates, Yield and scrap performance, Downtime, Energy consumption, Safety performance
  • Participate in process audits and assessments to identify operational improvement opportunities.
  • Support capital projects through data collection, engineering evaluations, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Develop presentations, reports, and recommendations for plant and corporate leadership.
