About The Position
Seeking a Process Engineer to support our client in Houston, TX. US Citizenship is required to perform this contract.
Requirements
- Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required
- Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design
- Must have EPC experience
- Must be able to complete a Process Engineer Skills and Experience Self-Assessment Form
Nice To Haves
- nuclear experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and coordinate process / mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team / design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects through project startup
- Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development
- Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems, water and waste systems, and equipment design
- Generate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specifications
