As a Trex Process Development Engineer you’ll be responsible for the design and
development of new and innovative processes as well as step-change improvements
to existing processes.

Requirements

• We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s of Science in an engineering discipline and 3+ years relevant experience.
• Project management experience as product and process development experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Put safety first – Always!
• Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
• Develop proof of concept and prototype equipment/processes
• Develop prototypes into viable manufacturing processes
• Perform trials in partnership with both internal and external resources in order to support the above objectives
• Support change management processes and procedures
• Use technical knowledge to design, troubleshoot, and optimize new and existing processes
• Use data to drive decisions on process design and optimization
• Design for safety by keeping employee safety, equipment design, and material hazards at the forefront of process development
• Work with equipment suppliers and vendors to vet out new and innovative process technologies
• Investigate new and emerging technologies that can be leveraged to develop innovative processes
