About The Position

This role is for a Process Control Technician who will perform necessary quality control checks and adjustments on raw materials, products, and production processes to ensure quality products are produced. Requirements

Demonstrates math and analytical ability
Possess the necessary skills to operate testing equipment and computer programs
Must be able to interact with hourly and salaried personnel
A working knowledge of the plant and the relationship to quality and process controls essential
High school diploma required
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer-sponsored visa (work permit)

Nice To Haves

Education and/or experience in engineering or a science background desired
Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred

Responsibilities

Performs routine daily quality control checks at all points in the production cycle to ensure final product specifications are met
Reports variations and items out of specification to the production supervisor
Operates testing equipment and computer programs to accomplish necessary checks and calculations
Prepares and maintains quality control and process reports as required
Directs personnel to ensure compliance with company rules, policies and procedures
Assumes temporary responsibility for the plant in the absence of a supervisor in the event of an emergency
Responsible for maintaining lab equipment and good housekeeping within the color plant lab
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
