About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates in a heavy industrial setting, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures. The position requires time spent both in the Control room and within the plant floor, with a focus on safety, compliance and collaboration.

• Adaptability and initiative in a dynamic manufacturing setting, with the confidence to make informed decisions during atypical operating conditions, equipment changes, or process variability

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team in optimizing plant safety, plant performance and plant efficiency.
• Operate cement kiln and milling circuits in alignment with plant targets and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate/coordinate with other plant teams (e.g. quality, maintenance, environment, etc.) relative to operational needs and performance.
• Lead plant personnel on process control systems and best practices.
• Utilize operating and administrative technologies, software and methodologies.
