About The Position

A leading industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Process Control Site Leader for its manufacturing facility in Brunswick, Georgia. The role leads and develops the site's Process Control Team and oversees control systems while driving improvements in operational reliability, process efficiency, product quality, and cost performance. It combines technical expertise and leadership with strategic thinking and collaborative problem-solving. The position can influence site-wide operations, lead critical controls initiatives, and develop technical talent in support of broader manufacturing objectives.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience working with process control systems, including industry-standard PLC and DCS platforms.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience managing process control personnel in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and technical initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop technical talent and build effective cross-functional relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the pulp and paper industry.
• Experience with Honeywell Distributed Control System (DCS) platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site-wide process control systems and lead the Process Control Team.
• Develop team members' technical capabilities, leadership skills, and overall performance.
• Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, and other site personnel to identify improvement opportunities and resolve operational challenges.
• Develop, plan, and execute process control strategies across multiple projects and ongoing support initiatives.
• Lead controls projects from design through implementation, including system design, testing, component specification, documentation, equipment procurement, contractor coordination, installation, and startup.
• Provide technical leadership and process control support for optimization, reliability, quality improvement, cost reduction, capital projects, and safety initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while aligning resources with the facility's highest-value opportunities.
• Oversee and maintain process control networks and systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Quality Control Systems (QCS), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
