About The Position

We are seeking a Process Control Lead to join our team and be part of a revolutionary change in delivering a smoke-free future. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing electric, electronics, equipment process control, and connectivity activities and projects on the Manufacturing floor. The goal is to ensure that maintenance, modifications, and improvements of the equipment are implemented at the best cost and specified quality, adhering to PMI standards and managing overall performance for customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/Master's degree in engineering or equivalent education, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics major preferred.
  • More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing facilities or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Programming abilities desired.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaboration, teamwork, customer orientation, quick learning, and attention to detail.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site process control optimization by implementing proper procedures for adjustments and calibration.
  • Coordinate activities related to electricity, electronics, equipment process control installation, and modification of production equipment.
  • Lead technical development of process control projects to improve safety conditions, quality, and more effective use of equipment, spare parts, and materials.
  • Perform regular coaching to develop PC&IS and daily management system capabilities of the team, supporting personnel skill/technical development to build ownership and team autonomy.
  • Act as the owner of the operations, control & instrumentation strategy & master plan, with a site-level focus on simplification, automation, and digitalization projects, and PC&IS capability.
  • Analyze the most frequent causes of breakdowns, wastes, and out-of-spec products, recommending corrective actions/solutions to improve overall productivity and quality.
  • Update technical documentation with the latest modifications or improvements.
  • Support necessary qualification and validation activities (Computer System Validation) following changes or upgrades.
  • Support adherence to all relevant Computerized Systems validation procedures and rules.
  • Collaborate with the Information Security Operations team in performing assessments on the shop floor.
  • Contribute to Information Security vulnerability management, including determining applicability of security patches and applying them or coordinating their application by vendors.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement process.
  • Train and assist users with process control systems.
  • Ensure continuous technical support to production personnel for optimum operating conditions of process control & supervision systems related to production equipment.
  • Provide coaching to other technical specialists.
