The Process Control Engineer will lead and execute engineering projects from concept through commissioning, startup, and handover. This role involves developing scope, schedules, budgets, action plans, and risk mitigation plans. The engineer will coordinate with operations, quality, maintenance, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project success and provide hands-on support during trials, troubleshooting, installation, startup, and issue resolution. A key aspect of this role is spending time on the shop floor to understand equipment, process flow, constraints, safety concerns, and production issues, applying metallurgical and mechanical engineering principles to support material selection, process qualification, and mechanical systems. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders and driving problem-solving.
