About The Position

Rinvio is hiring a Process Control Engineer for industrial automation, controls, and process improvement work in the Wickliffe, Kentucky area. This is a full-time project/plant support role with a negotiable pay based on experience. The contract position requires reliable transportation to the Wickliffe, KY area and the ability to complete site onboarding requirements. The role offers the opportunity to support meaningful system improvements and upgrades within an industrial process controls and automation-focused environment.

Requirements

Process controls, automation, or controls engineering experience in an industrial environment
Hands-on experience with DCS and/or PLC systems such as DeltaV, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, or Siemens
Strong understanding of PID loop tuning, control strategy, and plant troubleshooting
Experience with field device integration and industrial protocols such as HART, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, or Profibus
Ability to support automation upgrades, migrations, commissioning, and system expansions
Comfort analyzing process data and recommending practical continuous improvement actions
Reliable transportation to the Wickliffe, KY area
Must be professional, safety-minded, and able to complete any site onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

Program, troubleshoot, and optimize DCS and PLC systems including DeltaV, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens platforms
Tune PID control loops and improve process stability, reliability, and throughput
Integrate field devices using HART, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, Profibus, and related industrial communication protocols
Lead or support automation upgrades, migrations, commissioning, and system expansion projects
Analyze process data and implement continuous improvement strategies for plant performance
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project teams to resolve control-system issues
