About The Position

Responsible for the analysis, design, delivery, and maintenance of process automation across the enterprise. Works with internal clients to capture "as-is" processes and map "to-be" processes. Brings business process knowledge to ensure processes are reengineered and made ready for automation. Supports the development, testing, and deployment of automated solutions. The Business Process Automation Analyst will also be called upon to assist with managing the Virtual Workforce of robots and automation, including acting as a team leader for the robots, and reporting as on the performance, throughput, and accuracy of the robots which have been built.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business , Operations, Accounting, Engineering or Technology
  • One (1) year or more exposure to Six Sigma / Lean projects, Technology Deployments, Operational Improvement Background, or Involved in Corporate Change Management initiatives
  • Three (3) years or more Large Technology Deployments, Six Sigma / Lean projects, Leading Corporate Change Management initiatives preferred
  • Two (2) years or more Business Process Analyst, Project Analyst, or similar role preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (1 1/2 Years, preferred)
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (1 1/2 Years, preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (1 1/2 Years, preferred)
  • Certified Product Owner (CSPO) (1 1/2 Years, preferred)
  • Lean Certification (1 1/2 Years, preferred)
  • American Society for Quality ( e.g. Process Analyst) (1 1/2 Years, preferred)
  • Project Management Principles; beginner level
  • Excel, Visio, or Project knowledge; intermediate level; preferred
  • SQL knowledge; intermediate level; preferred
  • Understanding of, and Experience working with: Supply Chain Management or Logistics processes; intermediate level; preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure oversight and up-time of the Ryder robotic workforce, ensuring appropriate reporting on daily results is complete and accurate.
  • Initial first level support and triage of issues with robots in production
  • Conducts and documents automation feasibility analysis.
  • Produces keystroke level process maps and designs / builds automation in one or more tools.
  • Understand the steps in the process and any complications or dependencies.
  • Present summaries of findings to leaders, technology partners, and client, walking them through "to-be" designs of automated processes
  • Work closely with internal team to ensure requirements are accurately mapped and suitable for development.
  • Track progress daily or weekly as appropriate , provide updates for sprint reviews and in-progress demonstrations to SME’s and leadership
  • Work with Automation Center of Excellence (COE) management to identify , document, and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Work with SMEs to understand end to end processes, identifying automation blockers and suitability of the process for automation
  • Stay up to date on automation tools, best practices, and process improvement across multiple industries and technical tools.
  • Contribute to discussion on additions or changes to Ryder’s tool-kit , structure, and COE role
  • Performs other duties as assigned
