About The Position

In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you’ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. These are first shift positions working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off! You will develop and implement manufacturing process technologies, methods, and techniques to assist and promote the building of reliable, high quality Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) assemblies for satellite applications. You will develop and maintain product assembly procedures for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) & cable assemblies. You will assist in the preparation of new product cost estimates including applicable Non-Recurring Effort (NRE). You will be responsible for identifying, specifying, validating, documenting, implementing, and training on new equipment and processes. Work with Statistical software. You will design production equipment and fixtures to aid in the assembly of product while improving operator safety/comfort, reducing labor and improving product quality. You will provide technical training in PCBA/cable manufacturing techniques, methods, and processes to manufacturing associates. You will maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiency, yields, changeovers, and costs. You will Investigate and diagnose product manufacturing issues and respond to internal and external customer requests for changes and improvements. You will coordinate the implementation of product design changes. You will collect, record, and present data applicable to the status of production projects assigned to you. You will work with 2d CAD design of electrical assemblies, schematics, and parts, (PCBA design experience highly desirable). Configure and edit instructions in a manufacturing execution systems (MES) to support production workflows. Respond to SPC charts and dashboards in Power BI, Tableau and reporting tools. Work with production related software upgrades, migrations, and new feature rollouts with minimal disruption to operations. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, then turn them into actionable solutions.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma/GED with 5 years experience OR Associates degree in a technical field with 3 years experience
  • Self-starter and a strong problem solver.
  • Ability to lead and work as a member of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organization and decision-making skills.
  • Experience designing, assembling, and debugging automated or semi-automated electromechanical equipment.
  • Strong software abilities: MS Office – proficiency necessary in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves
