About The Position

The position involves supporting process improvement initiatives, engineers, and leads. The role requires gathering process requirements and providing operational/analytical support for Process Engineers. The analyst may identify or assist in identifying gaps and efficiency opportunities and make recommendations based on analysis. This role will interact with business SMEs to ascertain information and details in support of research and evaluations. Note: Consult Enterprise Change and Transformation Office - Process Design and Engineering COE prior to use. To be considered for this role, candidates must work in one of the following Truist office locations 5 days per week: Charlotte, NC - 214 North Tryon Street, Raleigh, NC - 3201 Beechleaf Court, Greensboro, NC - 7701 Airport Center Drive, Atlanta, GA - 303 Peachtree Street, Richmond, VA - 1001 Semmes Avenue. No Full Remote/Telecommute. No Relocation Assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Four years of process or project analyst or relevant industry experience in banking, financial services, or other services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient with business process management (BPM) standards for mapping purposes.
  • Self-starter, highly-motivated, change agent with strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Process mapping and/or process modeling.
  • Knowledgeable in applying problem solving toolsets to then create or draft process improvement deliverables.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Quality/process improvement-related designation.
  • Solid understanding of program and project management disciplines, techniques and approaches.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Responsibilities

  • Provide business process based solutions to complex problems.
  • Act as a Process SME for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.
  • Work with project teams, lines of business and other IT resources to analyze and develop solutions to satisfy business needs.
  • Under general direction, instruct, direct, and check the work of other business analysts.
  • Act independently or as a member of a project team to consult on complex projects.
  • Develop and implement a data collection plan in support of projects led by Process Engineers.
  • Assist with providing process improvement recommendations based on analysis of process maps, data collection, and root cause analysis.
  • Facilitate and document project meetings and design sessions.
  • Manage small project initiatives with limited scope.
  • Facilitate and document process mapping sessions, including ensuring documentation accurately reflects process owner discussion.
  • Prioritizes responsibilities to balance initiatives and deliverables.
