About The Position

This is a full-time position at the Community Hospital/Procedure Center. The role involves continuously providing nursing care to patients using the nursing process and organizational policies. Responsibilities include administering IV sedation under supervision, performing nursing procedures like therapeutic phlebotomy and esophageal manometry, and administering various medications. A key aspect of the role is the insertion, assessment, and maintenance of vascular access devices using aseptic technique and ultrasound guidance, including peripheral IVs, midline IVs, and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs). The position requires relocation to Grand Junction, CO before the start date and is an in-person/onsite role.

Requirements

  • RN License
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • BLS

Responsibilities

  • Continuously provide nursing care to patients utilizing both the nursing process and organization policies.
  • Administer intravenous (IV) sedation under the direct supervision of a licensed independent provider.
  • Perform ordered nursing procedures such as therapeutic phlebotomy and esophageal manometry.
  • Administer medications such as intravenous (IV) infusions and intramuscular or subcutaneous injections.
  • Using aseptic technique and ultrasound-guidance, perform insertion, assessment, and maintenance of the following vascular access devices: peripheral IVs, midline IVs, peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs).
