About The Position

The Procedural Specialist at Bard Peripheral Vascular, Inc. provides expert clinical and technical support for Bard's peripheral vascular product portfolio during surgical and interventional procedures, ensuring optimal product utilization and patient outcomes. For most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. Remote or field-based positions will have different workplace arrangements which will be indicated in the job posting. For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or clinical field (e.g., Nursing, Cardiovascular Technology, Biomedical Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a clinical support role within the medical device industry, specifically with peripheral vascular products.
  • Strong understanding of peripheral vascular anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice, to support clinical cases.

Nice To Haves

  • Current clinical certifications or licenses (e.g., RN, RCIS, RCES) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth technical and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and other medical staff during peripheral vascular procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, and thrombectomy.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the proper use, benefits, and troubleshooting of Bard's peripheral vascular devices and equipment.
  • Act as a primary resource for product inquiries, technical specifications, and procedural best practices.
  • Assist in inventory management and product ordering for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Gather and report competitive intelligence and market feedback to internal teams.
  • Participate in professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of peripheral vascular procedures, trends, and Bard's product offerings.
  • Document case support activities, product performance, and customer interactions accurately and timely.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including FDA and HIPAA guidelines.
