About The Position
Our McKinney nursing teams serve a very fast-paced, high-volume environment with consistently strong patient census and acuity. This clinic has several specialties and can get pulled to another specialty within the dept or be working in multiple specialties in the same day. We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported.
Requirements
- Accredited program
- 6+ years of RN experience
- 2+ years of procedural experience
- TX RN
- ACLS
Nice To Haves
- Procedural Pain experience/emergency room experience
- Expert in multitasking
- Able to be flexible
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and prioritize their needs.
- Create and adjust care plans for better results.
- Assess nursing practices to ensure quality and effectiveness.
- Help teach patients and staff.
- Use strategies and resources to solve problems for patients, families, and staff.
- Enhance nursing practice and work environment.
- Contribute to decision-making, recognize others' contributions meaningfully.
- Monitor patients' health and communicate changes efficiently to nursing staff and healthcare providers.
- Give top-notch, patient-centered care that honors patient diversity.
- Use the nursing process and follow nursing standards.
