About The Position

This Procedural Nurse Coordinator is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site. This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Moorestown and surrounding areas. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required. Participates in cross training in other specialty areas. Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement projects. Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown Multidisciplinary sites.

Requirements

  • 1 year RN required
  • Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing required
  • Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
  • Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Current NJ-ACLS
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Effective resource utilization skills
  • Expanded problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills at a supervisory level
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to delegate effectively
  • Ability to supervise the work of other team members

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of specialty experience preferred in GI or IR
  • BSN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site.
  • Facilitate and coordinate safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown Multidisciplinary sites.

  • Utilize critical thinking to consider factors related to patient safety, effectiveness, and cost in delivering care.
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Director to plan or change course of action for improved continuity of care and outcomes.
  • Exercise expanded problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making at a supervisory level.
  • Delegate effectively and supervise the work of other team members.
