Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related technical discipline; equivalent military or industry experience will also be considered.
  • Experience working in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics testing, probe cards, wafer test, or related high-precision manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of electrical measurement techniques and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Proficiency with microscopes, metrology equipment, and precision inspection tools.
  • Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE), wafer probers, and semiconductor test processes.
  • Experience operating or supporting onto (formerly Rudolph) PRVX4 systems and/or ProbeWorx300 probe card analyzers is highly desirable.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Effective problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and perform electrical and parametric testing of probe card assemblies using automated test equipment and wafer test systems.
  • Execute probe card characterization, validation, and qualification activities to ensure compliance with customer and internal specifications.
  • Perform first-line troubleshooting and root cause analysis utilizing electrical measurements, including resistance, capacitance, continuity, and voltage testing.
  • Conduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections of probes, interconnects, and assemblies using microscopes, metrology equipment, and other precision measurement tools.
  • Identify probe wear, alignment issues, damaged components, and other performance-impacting conditions, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support probe card assembly, rework, repair, and maintenance activities in accordance with established manufacturing procedures.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to engineering teams and collaborate on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Accurately record test results, inspection data, and process observations within manufacturing and quality systems.
  • Maintain compliance with safety requirements, cleanroom protocols, and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, quality, throughput, and equipment performance.
