Collaboration with probationers, the district, and community resources is key to developing and managing individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include making home and community contacts, preparing reports such as Pre-sentence Investigations and sentencing guidelines in a timely manner, and testifying with sentencing recommendations to the court/attorney. A significant aspect of this role involves coaching and mentoring line probation officers, covering vacancies, providing training for new staff, and reviewing presentence reports for the district.
