This position provides community supervision services, program planning, youth group facilitation, community monitoring, CBT/ART programming, wrap-around service coordination, individual and group counseling, staff training, family sessions, education department collaboration, and day/evening reporting. The employee may occasionally respond to emergency situations during off-hours. An employee assigned to this classification models exemplary skill competency in all facets of probation officer positions and functions including general probation services, alcohol or drugs, gender specific, sex offender, mental health, learning disabled or other, and serves as department and Court resource in specialized area. The employee also performs the duties of Juvenile Probation Officer I and II, providing training. Employee may occasionally have to travel out of state, and will respond to emergency situations during off-hours. In this position, you are an At-Will Employee serving at the pleasure of the Administrative Judge.
