Requirements

  • HS or successful completion of GED
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working directly with offenders or defendants.
  • Must possess or obtain VCIN certification within ninety (90) days of employment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and must have and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record based on the City of Hampton’s criteria.
  • Must successfully pass testing for alcohol and controlled substances in accordance with the City of Hampton substance abuse policy.
  • Must successfully pass a background check prior to any offer of employment or promotion.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration or Corrections preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered for this position.
