The Research Assistant will be responsible for in-person and remote data collection for a broad set of assignments for Dr. Stephanie De Anda and Dr. Camille Cioffi’s federally funded human subjects research project. These projects are complex and includes coordinating with multiple community agencies, longitudinal research studies, community partnerships, and human subjects data activities. The Research Assistant must be Spanish and English speaking. The Research Assistant will be responsible for working with community partners who are SUD services providers. This includes tracking recruitment and retention of participants, facilitating project assessment, and ensuring quality and integrity of data collected for the project. The Research Assistant will work closely with the Lab Manager and the principal investigators to implement human subjects research activities primarily for recruitment, data collection, and data entry. The Research Assistant will collect data in the form of interviews, surveys, observation tasks, dynamic assessments with children and their parents using standardized procedures. Recruitment and data collection may occur in-person within family homes or at community organization sites, or remotely via video conference. In addition, the Research Assistant may support with entry and coding of collected data. This position will provide technological support and perform administrative tasks as needed to ensure effective and accurate data collection procedures. The Research Assistant will ensure data collection adheres to study protocols and be responsible for data reconciliation.
