About The Position
The Department of Finance at the Lundquist College of Business is seeking talented pro tem faculty to teach Finance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. These are limited-duration appointments, potentially renewable for up to three years. Pro tempore faculty will work under the supervision of the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Research and/or the requisite department head. The role requires a strong commitment to quality instruction, service to students, and contributing positively to a diverse community. Courses are scheduled to be conducted on campus and in the classroom.
Requirements
- Master’s degree. In exceptional circumstances, a BA/BS degree and evidence of substantial professional experience may substitute for an advanced degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to contribute positively to our diverse community and to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability or potential for quality teaching.
Nice To Haves
- PhD or other doctorate and demonstrated teaching experience.
