About The Position

Trinity Surfaces is seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Pro Shop Counter Sales Rep. This role serves as the primary point of contact for walk-in contractors and customers, providing fast, accurate, and professional service in the Pro Shop and warehouse while supporting sales growth, order accuracy, and an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

2+ years experience in flooring or building materials (worked with flooring contractors, installers or builders)
Experience in counter sales with working knowledge in installation methods
Experience in retail, warehouse, or pro-shop environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction

Nice To Haves

Bilingual - Spanish and English language skills preferred
Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service to contractors and walk-in customers at the Pro Shop counter.
Process sales orders through the full P21 lifecycle with accurate and timely follow-through.
Review open orders daily, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate order data.
Assist with pulling, verifying, loading, and staging customer orders as needed.
Promote add-on sales and recommend products that support customer project needs.
Develop knowledge of tile, flooring, setting materials, contractor tools, and related accessories.
Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, and communicate product needs to management.
Process customer and supplier returns accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
Balance daily cash, check, and credit card transactions and prepare deposits.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Pro Shop and warehouse environment.
Support warehouse operations and Trinity Fleet activities as needed.
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment operating guidelines.
