About The Position
Crawfordsville Golf Course, located in Crawfordsville, IN, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Pro Shop/Cart Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less). Schedule: Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Requirements
- High school education or its equivalent
- Must be able to fluently speak and write English
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to waist height
- Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Repetitive motion required, including computer entry
- Must be able to operate a golf cart safely
- Normal vision and hearing required
Responsibilities
- Continually monitors, implements, and adheres to all company goals, policies, procedures, and controls
- Assists golf professionals with checking in golfers and maintains a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play
- Assists with receiving merchandise and adheres to purchase order procedures
- Assists with the rotation of shop displays
- Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns them to the cart barn at the end of the day
- Cleans, fuels, and checks carts after each use
- Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times
- Receives and communicates complaints to the Pro Shop
- Works closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments
- Maintains an organized stock room and assists the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness
- Assists with pricing of merchandise
- Assists with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels
- Performs other duties as requested by the Head Professional
- Provides service in any and every way; goes the extra mile to provide the standard of service guests expect
