Charles Myers Golf Course, located in Charlotte, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Pro Shop Attendant! Requirements

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be coachable and have basic computer skills
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
• Sunday availability required

Responsibilities

• Perform clerk/cashier like duties.
• Responsible for processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process.
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as trained.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
• Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day.
• Ensure property and its amenities are secured daily.
• Assist with set-up of equipment and golf cart.
• Perform Starter/Ranger like duties.
• Responsible for welcoming and greeting of guests and players in a friendly manner.
• Explaining rules and course etiquette to all groups if needed.
• Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet, maintain organized storage areas and practice facilities.
• Assist with the set-up and organization of the golf carts and equipment for any regular tee time starts or outings.
• Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play of groups to prevent delay.
• Answer all questions in a friendly manner. Keep a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary.
• Ensure that each group has four players if possible.
• Responsible for the picking up and cleaning practice balls when scheduled.
• Ensure property and its amenities are secured daily.
• Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager.
