About The Position
This role is for a Pro Paint Specialist working in a Home Depot store, focusing on the unique needs of professional painting contractors. The specialist will build relationships with local pros, introduce Behr products, and provide exceptional customer service. This includes collaborating with contractors to find the right products, mixing paint, and ensuring a quick and efficient checkout experience, aiming to make customers feel like they've had a dedicated paint store experience. Requirements
- Basic computer skills are necessary to use customer management software.
- An outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
- Ability to be a self-starter.
- Occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic computer skills (prior computer knowledge is a plus).
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual skills are a bonus, as many professional contractors speak a second language.
Responsibilities
- Introduce yourself to contractors and get to know their business and needs.
- Maintain relationships with professional customers and follow up regarding their jobs and future needs.
- Collaborate with Behr's outside sales representatives.
- Assist customers when they come into the store, including pulling and tinting orders for pickup.
- Work closely with Home Depot staff, maintaining a professional and helpful relationship.
- Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce, the customer relationship management tool.
