About The Position
The transporter is responsible for the daily transportation of patients to and from the Outpatient Services of Hickory Trail Hospital. The transporter is also responsible for behavioral management of patients while enroute and for reporting to the Coordinator any behavioral or safety issues.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience driving a van type vehicle.
- Must have a current Texas driver’s license.
- Must have a clear driving record.
- CPI and CPR certification must be completed prior to providing direct care services.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with patients or adults and children preferred.
Responsibilities
- Daily transportation of patients to and from Outpatient Services.
- Behavioral management of patients while enroute.
- Reporting any behavioral or safety issues to the Coordinator.
