Omnicell is seeking a PRN Staff Pharmacist for their Specialty Pharmacy team. This role involves contributing to community well-being, acting as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensuring efficient and effective pharmacy operations. Requirements
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing in CT
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
- Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development
- Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more
