About The Position
Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a beautiful and state of the art 72-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a PRN Social Worker position. The Clinical Social Worker serves as a critical member of our treatment team. They provide a thorough psychosocial assessment, group therapeutic services and education, treatment planning, and coordination of care.
Requirements
- Current License in the State of Michigan as a LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLCSW, LCSW
- Master's level preparation from an accredited school
Nice To Haves
- Experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide a thorough psychosocial assessment.
- Provide group therapeutic services and education.
- Develop treatment plans.
- Coordinate care.
