About The Position
Leora Behavioral Health offers a full continuum of outpatient care to help support as many clients as possible. Their programs include a day treatment program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and general outpatient program. They also provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), ambulatory detox, and case management services. Leora helps clients receive the support and treatment they need. Leora Dayton is seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, support residents/patients in achieving their best possible health outcomes, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members.
Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Must be 21 or older
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to facility policies.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, responses to treatment, and changes in status.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records and documentation.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed.
- Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and staff.
