On our G80 General Internal Medicine unit, you will be caring for adult patients with complex multi-system failure issues, such as congestive heart failure and sepsis. You will also be taking care of patients with nutritional deficiencies, which is unique to our G80 unit. Many of our patients also require ongoing cardiac monitoring, so you will be trained in Cardiac Dysrhythmia and EKG interpretation. Leadership on this unit fosters a strong sense of teamwork, and caregivers gain skills applicable to many specialties across the organization. This unit is one of only two Ohio Cleveland Clinic units to receive the Prism Award for nutritional insufficiency program excellence. As an RN on our team, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
External candidates: two years of recent related nursing experience
Licensed military RN experience will be considered
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care.
