Requirements

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Reliable car and auto insurance
• Pass state and federal criminal record check(s)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Recent (within the last year) TB/Chest X-ray on record
• Wound care experience
• Lab draw and PICC care experience
• Willing to see patients in all locations as assigned
• Willing to travel 60+ miles per day

Nice To Haves

• 2-5 years of infusion experience
• Port experience
• 1 year of PICC dressing change experience
• 1 year of peripheral lab draw experience
• 1 year of central line experience
• 1 year of infusion experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing 15 visits per week
• Responsible for providing home health clinical services
• Responsible for quality; adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff
• Perform care as defined by client's individual Plan of Care and within scope of state's nurse practice act
• Monitor patient's condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
• Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs
• Must be willing to do both visits and shifts as assigned
