PRN Registered Nurse – Service Supervisor
About The Position
Not every nurse wants to spend the next decade working nights, weekends, holidays, and managing impossible patient ratios. At Touching Hearts at Home, we believe great nursing is built on relationships—not rushing from room to room. We're looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a PRN basis, providing clinical oversight and support to our clients, families, and caregivers throughout the Greater Charlotte area. This is an opportunity to use your nursing experience in a more personal, relationship-focused environment while maintaining the flexibility of PRN work. As our agency continues to grow, there may also be opportunities to take on additional responsibility and grow into a clinical leadership role.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Reliable transportation with willingness to travel throughout an assigned territory
Nice To Haves
- Home care, geriatrics, hospice, case management, or community-based nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home nursing assessments and develop individualized service plans
- Complete supervisory visits to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance
- Train, coach, and support caregivers in delivering exceptional care
- Monitor client well-being and communicate changes appropriately
- Educate clients and families while serving as a trusted clinical resource
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records
- Collaborate with agency leadership to improve quality, caregiver performance, and client outcomes
- Provide clinical guidance and support when needed
