PRN Registered Nurse (RN) PACU
About The Position
We're looking for PRN RNs to join our PACU TEAM! Recovery room nurse or post-operative nurse is responsible for the care and monitoring of patients after surgery. Plans and coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for clients utilizing the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other clinical personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice. Supports the philosophy and goals of the individual clinical area. Supports the shared governance vision and nursing obligations of membership which guide the practice of all nurses at Valley View Hospital.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Two years RN experience required
- BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association with cards in-hand before start date
- Eligible to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- PACU or Critical Care experience is strongly preferred
- PALS through the American Heart Association within six months
