About The Position

As a Primary Therapist at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of a team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation, or virtually through our tele-behavioral health platform. The Primary Therapists Conducts individual, family, and group therapy (adults, children and adolescents) on topics such as mood, anxiety, stress and eating disorders. Our Primary Therapists develop each patient’s individualized treatment plan and work with interdisciplinary treatment team to implement the plan. You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways: Conduct psychotherapy including individual, group and family therapy Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning for each patient on case load: Complete biopsychosocial, self-harm and suicide assessments Create individualized treatment plan with specific and measurable goals in collaboration with treatment team members Create treatment agreements, support plans or behavior plans as needed For each patient on case load, complete clinical paperwork including: Treatment plans Individual and Family Therapy progress notes and group notes Wellness plan and aftercare plan Discharge summary Attend treatment team meetings and treatment team rounds to coordinate patients care with interdisciplinary team

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree required in counseling or related field
  • Registered as an associate or intern phase of licensure or what is required by the state to practice individual therapy
  • Has obtained and maintains a full clinical mental health license as required by state
  • Has carried significant individual and/or family caseload for at least 2 years with documented success in treating patients with common diagnoses and expected comorbidities
  • At least 3 years post licensure experience working with mood, anxiety, ED and/or trauma related disorders
  • Some experience supervising other clinicians
  • Has carried a significant individual and/or family caseload, with success treating more complex cases

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with individual/family therapy preferred

Responsibilities
