About The Position

At Central Ohio Urology Surgery Center, a nationally recognized ASC leading in urologic surgical care, we are seeking a flexible PRN RN for our Preop/PACU team. This role is crucial for supporting patients before and after surgery, adapting to surgery center volume, staffing needs, and your availability. We value vigilance, critical thinking, communication, and a proactive approach to ensure smooth recoveries. This is an as-needed role, not a full-time position, requiring a commitment to pick up at least one shift every 90 days during our standard weekday operating hours (Monday-Friday, 6 am-5:30 pm). New PRN hires must complete 6, 10-hour training days within their first 30 days.

Requirements

Current Ohio RN license (required)
Minimum 2 years experience in ICU, ER, Preop, PACU, or Circulating
Availability to pick up PRN shifts as needed during standard operating hours (Monday-Friday, 6 am-5:30 pm)
Strong decision-making and communication skills
A proactive, humble, collaborative attitude
Ability to give and receive feedback with professionalism and grace
Ability to stay calm, clear-headed, and composed when it matters most
Must pick up at least one offered shift within a 90-day period
Must complete 6, 10-hour training days within the first 30 days of hire
