About The Position

This is a PRN opportunity, 15-20 hours per week. The primary function is to assist the Director of Pharmacy Services in the day-to-day operations of the pharmaceutical services department. This role must adhere to current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing behavioral healthcare and residential treatment facilities to ensure the highest quality of care is consistently provided. This is an onsite position with the potential for telepharmacy in the future.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other equipment relative to pharmaceutical services.
• Appropriate accredited certification and state registration.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, state and government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Trustworthy, holding residents medical and personal information in confidence at all times.

Responsibilities
