PRN Paramedic
About The Position
Lumexa Imaging is seeking a PRN Paramedic to work onsite at Gateway Diagnostic Imaging in Arlington, TX. The primary responsibility is to facilitate contrast injections. In the event of an adverse event, such as a contrast reaction, infiltration, or any situation requiring radiologist intervention, the Paramedic must immediately alert the supervising radiologist via Teams audio/video. The radiologist will then assist with patient assessment and provide treatment instructions, including medication administration. The Paramedic is also responsible for ensuring 911 is called when necessary. Prior to onsite coverage, candidates must provide documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance and current medical license, complete an MRI Safety Screening form, and review Emergency Response and MRI Safety training.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Previous experience as a certified EMT or Paramedic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
