About The Position

PRN Caregiver (Resident Assistant) – Overnight – Alto Boynton Ridge Ringgold, GA | PRN / Casual | Overnight | 7:00pm–7:00am Pick up overnight shifts. Done by 7am. Care that truly matters. Alto Boynton Ridge is seeking compassionate, dependable PRN Overnight Caregivers (Resident Assistants) for our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Pick up shifts when they work for you — in a supportive community just minutes from Chattanooga where your overnight presence makes a real difference every single night. 12-hour overnight shifts mean you're home before most people start their day. The primary responsibility of the Resident Assistant is to provide resident care services, as scheduled, under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RSD) in Assisted Living areas, maintaining a positive physical and social environment.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one (1) year related health care experience required.
In any Community with an Ensemble Program, applicant must successfully complete required dementia training.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

Assisted Living and/or Memory Care experience — strongly preferred
A genuine heart for caring for seniors with dignity and compassion
Dependable and available for PRN overnight shifts as needed
Comfortable working independently overnight
No certifications required
Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the state.
May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) depending on the state requirements, if licensed or certified must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on overnight care to Assisted Living and Memory Care residents
Assist residents with daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and comfort
Monitor resident well-being and respond promptly and calmly to any needs
Support Memory Care residents with patience, empathy, and dementia-informed care
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment throughout every overnight shift
Be the steady, caring presence residents and families count on through the night
Approach all encounters with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, medicinal reminders, and incontinence care.
Keep proper records of care including a resident service plan and documenting services provided.
Be familiar with resident service plan and document all service provided.
Work closely and maintain daily communications with the Resident Services associates so that a continuity of care and services is maintained for the residents.
Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
Support the programming and operations of the neighborhood.
